Aberdeen Mayor Resigns. Village Goes to Court for Unlawful Release of Officer

ABERDEEN — Mayor Harry Foxworthy resigned from his position with the Village of Aberdeen Wednesday. “He came in [Wednesday] afternoon and gave me a letter of resignation,” said Aberdeen Fiscal Officer Nathan Pfeffer. Foxworthy could not be reached for comment by press time, but his letter was short and concise.

Firm Files Copyright Infringement Suit in Indiana

Plaintiff is the owner of the copyright in a model of cultural competency titled “Cultural Competency in Healthcare Delivery: Have I ‘ASKED’ Myself the Right Questions?”. Defendants, teachers for Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation, allegedly used a portion of Plaintiff’s model without permission in a PowerPoint presentation entitled “Culturally Competent Classroom Management” (see Exhibit C below).

Proposed new jail standards both praised, condemned
